Also Please Note…. AS OF JULY 2018, DMV HAS IMPLEMENTED Α NEW REQUIREMENT ΙΝ ORDER ΤΟ ATTEND ΤΗΕ PRE-LICENSING COURSE. Anyone taking the Pre-Licensing Course ” … must present a current ΝΥ Photo Learner Permit or a valid interim permit with a NYS. Government-issued ID card (such as a Non-Driver ID Card, Expired ΝΥ Photo Permit, and/or Expired ΝΥ Photo License) to the instructor at the pre-licensing course.
Currently Mercedes driving school is holding the five hour New York State pre-licensing course via zoom, please do not hesitate to call our office in order to learn more information about this course. Please do note that in person sign-up is required for this course. In New York State Pre-Licensing Course Certificate (MV-278) or a Student Certificate of Completion (MV-285) are needed to take a NYS TEST.

What you’ll need to schedule your road test
- a valid New York State learner permit (see a sample learner permit)
